A Letter of Agreement and Recommendation in the Handwriting of the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Dushinsky - Jerusalem, 1982 - A long and special recommendation for the commentary ”Tuv Yerushalayim” on the Ramban's commentary on the Torah by Rabbi Pinchas Yehuda Leiberman. Written in the handwriting of the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Dushinsky. In his remarks the Rebbe quotes the Chatam Sofer, who wrote: ”This book is the foundation of faith and the root of the religion but the apostates are unable to learn it…”. In the letter Rabbi Dushinsky praises Rabbi Leiberman's commentary to the book Chovot HaLevavot [Duties of the Heart], ”Lev Tov” – a very important commentary which has become widespread throughout the Jewish people and amongst those who study the holy book Chovot HaLevavot. The Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Dushinsky was the Ga'avad of the Beit Din of the Eida Chareidit in Jerusalem and the Rosh Yeshiva of Dushinsky. Rabbi Pinchas Yehuda Leiberman wrote other books, among them extremely important commentaries on the books of the early Sages. His biography was recently published, under the name ”Chacham Lev”.
