Early Letter by Rabbi Yosef Kahaneman - Matters Related to Supporting his Yeshiva - Ponevezh, 1932 - Letter on official stationery handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yosef Kahaneman, when he was a rabbi in Ponevezh. 1932. The letter is from the time Rabbi Kahaneman travelled throughout Europe to raise funds for his yeshiva in Ponevezh. The letter is addressed to one of his hosts during the journey, Rabbi Aharon Milevsky, the rabbi of Alytus. An especially long letter written in both sides of the leaf. 18 handwritten lines. To the best of our knowledge, such an early letter by Rabbi Kahaneman on his official stationery has never been seen in auctions. 13x21 cm. Condition: excellent. Filing holes.
