By Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman, the Rabman. Venice, 1695. Second edition. On page 2 is a poem by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena praising the book. Two comments in the handwriting of Rabbi Chaviv Toledano, stamps ”NHT”N” [Says Chaviv Tolednao NR”N]. In the second gloss he writes: ”This is the answer of the Rambam, and the truth is as I wrote in the book 'Terumat HaKodesh' NHT”N”. Rabbi Chaviv Toledano (1800-1842), one of the Rabbis of Morrocco in the city of Meknes, is famous primarily for his book ”Peh Yesharim” on the Pesach Haggadah with Kabbalistic commentaries and ”Terumat HaKodesh” – a responsa against the heretical claims against the Torah and the Rabbinic tradition.
