A Set of Sliver Forks that Belonged to the Rebbe of Boian - Six impressive silver forks. Art Nouveau. Germany, circa 1920. The forks belonged to Rabbi Yisrael Friedman, the Rebbe of Boian in Leipzig, the son of the first Rebbe of Boian, Rabbi Yitzchak Friedman.  The letter ”F” (Friedman) is engraved on every fork. Added is a letter by the daughter of the Rebbetzen Gitl Shapira (the Rebbe's daughter), stating that she had received the set from her mother and according to tradition, it came from the family of the Rebbe of Boian.
