Gold and Silver Medal of the OSE Organization - Extremely Rare - OSE or OZE is a Jewish humanitarian organization in France, which saved and aided hundreds of children, Jewish refugees from France and other Western-European countries. The original OZE (Obshchetsvo Zdravookhraneniya Yevreyiev - Organization for the Health Protection of Jews), was created in 1912 in Saint Petersburg by doctors, to help needy members of the Jewish population. As a Jewish health organization, during World War II, OSE rescued children away from the Nazis and threat of extermination. According to estimates, the organization saved more than 5,000 children. The medal before us was given during a fundraising event in Morocco in 1944 to donors who had donated a sum higher than $50,000. The medal is made of silver and 18 karat gold.
