The Sl?nsk? trial was a show trial against elements of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KS?) who were thought to have adopted the line of the maverick Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito. On 20 November 1952, Rudolf Sl?nsk?, General Secretary of the KS?, and 13 other leading party members, 11 of them Jews, were accused of participating in a Trotskyite-Titoite-Zionistconspiracy and convicted: 11 including Sl?nsk? were hanged in Prague on December 3 and three were sentenced to life imprisonment. Mifleget Poalei Eretz Yisrael, Tel Aviv, 1953. The booklet is a bitter accusation against ”Ha'Shomer Ha'Tza'ir” and its conduct in the ”Sl?nsk? Trial” affair. 128 pp. 17x12 cm. Condition: Good. An anthology of readings for children according to the curriculum of the Kibbutzim and Ha'Shomer Ha'Tza'ir during the 1940's. The book demonstrates the seemingly innocent socialistic ideas of Ha'Shomer Ha'Tza'ir. Includes photographs. 128 pp. 21x14 cm. Condition: Good. Slight flaws.
