Each medal incorporates a colored transparency of one of the twelve stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall to adorn the Hadassah hospital synagogue in Jerusalem. The medal is made of sterling silver, with a 24K gold-plated brass band. The medals are in an impressive wooden presentation box, with back lighting.
