Four account books, Misgav La'Dach Hospital, the twenties and thirties - Account books specifying the revenues and expenses of the hospital, with the names of all the donators. 1926, 1930, 1932, 1935. Written by Reb Chaim Michlin, the secretary of the hospital. Misgav Ladach Hospital in the Old City of Jerusalem was founded in the 19th century and the Sephardi community and operated at the same time as Bikkur Cholim Hospital of the Ashkenazi community and the Rothschild Hospital. In 1878, the 'Misgav Ladach' Company was founded and in 1888, when the Rothschild Hospital in the Old City moved to Ha'Nevi'im Street, the company bought the building and founded the Misgav Ladach Hospital. In 1893, the secretary of Bikkur Cholim Hospital, Chaim Michl Michlin, moved to Misgav Ladach together with his father-in-law, Michk Ha'Cohen and his brother-in-law Dr. Eliezer Cohen. Reb Chaim Michl Michlin (1867-1938) a Jerusalem activisy, the son-in-law of Reb Michl Ha'Cohen, a journalist and public activist, among the founders of the Nachalat Shiva neighborhood. He was the secretary of the rabbi of Jerusalem, Rabbi Shmuel Salant and the secretary of the Ashkenazi institutions – Etz Chaim Talmud Torah and Yeshiva and the Bikkur Cholim Hospital. After he moved to Misgav Ladach Hospital, he was the secretary of the Sephardi Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Ya'akov Saul Elyashar and those after him until Rabbi Ya'akov Meir. He was also the secretary of the Sephardi institutions – 'Tiferet Jerusalem' Talmud Torah and Yeshiva. He was among the founders of the Mizrachi office in Jerusalem and its chairman. In the book of 1926 there is a list of donators from Jewish Hebron before the 1929 Riots. To the book of 1930, Reb Chaim Michlin wrote an introduction about the bloody events of 1929. In the book of 1932, he wrote about his desire to quit his job at the hospital and the history of the hospital since he started working there. In the book of 1935 there is an announcement of the death of Chief Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook and the deaths of the Baron Rothschild and his wife. The books specify all the donators to the hospital, among them the ministers of the house of Rothschild in Paris, the Sephardi Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Ya'akov Meir, Zerach Baranet, of the founders of Petach Tikva, the Sephardi Jerusalem families Kookya, Meni, Elishar, Eliran, Navon, Meyuchas, Angel, Shimon Rokach of Jaffa, Rabbi Moshe Clears, the rabbi of Tiberias, Rabbis form Porat Yosef of the Hadya and Katzin families, Rabbi Efrayim Cohen, Rabi Ya'akov Adess and more and more.
