A fascinating book, packed with hundreds of posters, ads and documents printed in Jerusalem and throughout the country since the early days of the Old Yishuv and until 1940. Including posters (“pashkevilim”) and advertisements printed by rabbis. The book records and documents struggles, conflicts and various controversies that preoccupied the Old and New Yishuv in the early days of its renewal. Also includes many leaflets on various matters, obituaries and public verdicts. 34 cm. 64, 74, and 96 pp (I-III). Rare - only 500 copies were printed. Condition: Excellent.
