70 Semesters to the Zionist Academic Corporation Yardeniya, Vilna, 1964, edited by Shalom Slovs, dedication of the editor to Ze'ev von Weist, Most Rare! - The Zionist Academic Corporation Yardeniya was founded on 18.2.1929 in Vilna in order to strengthen the bonds between the Jewish students and their national identity. The academy did much for the Jews of the town and maintained close ties with other corporations. On the title page, there is the dedication of the editor: ”To Dr. Ze'ev von Weist, with love, in name of the brothers of Yardeniya, Dr. S. Slovs, 6.1.64”. Dr. Ze'ev von Weist (1896-1974) was a picturesque, adventurous figure. He was a military man, among the founders of the Revisionist Movement and among the leaders of the struggle for the establishment of a national home to the Jewish nation in the Land of Israel. Includes interesting pictures. Most rare! The book was printed in 200 copies only. Before us is copy number 17. Condition: Very good.
