The book is full of photos that demonstrate medical care on the battlefield, including a picture of carrying a stretcher on a mule. Dedication to Second Lieutenant Mazortzki Rivah from A. Atzmon (Blumevitz), Colonel, Chief Medical Officer. Abraham Atzmon, the second medical officer of the State of Israel, was a doctor of a partisan division, appointed at the end of the war to be in charge of protecting refugee camps by US General Clay. Was a medical officer in the IDF between 1949-1956, and continued to help the IDF as part of the Civil Defense for many years. 256 pp. Condition: Very good.
