Shamir - Jerusalem Stamp, showing the way to the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Tower of David in the center, issued by Israel Postal Service After the War of Independence, on the opening day of the Constituent Assembly of Israel (later: the Knesset ), which expresses the longing of the entire nation to return to the Old City of Jerusalem (which was then under Jordanian occupation ). The stamp with a full tab,with a rare stamp of the appearance day. Printed at the bottom, the verse (Psalms 122, 3) : ” Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together ”, and signed by the designer, M. Shamir. Very good condition. Very rare !
