Medal, the Second Zionist Congress, Paris, 1898 - Medal issued in honor of the second Zionist congress which took place in Basel, Switzerland, 1898. On one side the inscription: ”Hine Ani Lokeach et Bnei Yisrael Mebein Ha'Goyim … Ve'Hevetu Otam el Admatam” (”I will take the children of Israel from among the nations … and bring them into their own land”). On the reverse side, an allegoric embossment of a family looking at a woman who is pointing to the rising sun. Diameter: 62 mm. Condition: Good-Very Good.
