A LARGE AND IMPORTANT SILVER FILIGREE SPICE TOWER. Probably Lemberg, c. 1800 - A massive spice tower, exceptionally well made. Later fitted with a pocket watch on one of the sides. Further decorated with colored stones. On a solid square base that is marked with Austro-Hungarian control marks of the very early 19th century. Multi-level in form. Engraved on the base with the former owner's initials. From the collection of Abraham Halpern. 15.5” tall
