The front is embossed and painted with the map of the upper portion of the Holy Land and Erez- Israel in Hebrew and English. The verso is decorated with the KKL insignia, a Jewish star with a rampant lion cartouche and Keren Kayemet LeYisroel written in Torah style Ashkenaz script. Marked on the base “KEREN KAYEMETH LEJISRAEL the number 1388 (probably a serial number) and “MADE IN GERMANY ''. next to the coin slot. 4.6” x 3”.
