Bidspirit auction | Vintage ceramic novelty flask/decanter modelled

Vintage ceramic novelty flask/decanter modelled as a leather-bound book, finished in glossy oxblood/maroon glaze with cream ”page” edges and a pouring spout to the top. The faux spine bears gilt label panels reading ”DO-IT YOURSELF” and ”Tarwig & Blalock, ” with a small figure illustration of a man (in yellow) on the front cover — likely a promotional/advertising or souvenir liquor flask. Mid-20th century. Condition: intact and hollow (functional as a flask/bottle); shows age — the spine labels are torn and worn, light glaze wear/flaking to the brown rim edges, and residue of an old base sticker. Unmarked maker.
