Leonard, a world champion in five weight divisions and 1976 Olympic gold medallist, is regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time and one of the ”Four Kings” of 1980s boxing. His two meetings with Hearns — the 1981 welterweight unification, won by 14th-round stoppage, and the 1989 rematch, ruled a draw — are among the most celebrated bouts in the sport's history. Leonard signatures on imagery from these fights are consistently sought after by boxing collectors. Photograph in excellent condition.
