”Matan Torah” by the Holy Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Levi Ashlag Jerusalem, 1981 - First Edition This book is dedicated to the dissemination of original teachings of the soul of Judaism, Jewish religion, and the wisdom of Kabbalah among the general public, by the renowned Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Levi Ashlag, of blessed memory. Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag (1885 - 1966) was a brilliant and holy scholar, as well as a divine Kabbalist. He served as a rabbi in the city of Warsaw and immigrated to Jerusalem in 1922, where he established the Yeshivat Itur Rabbanim for the study of the revealed Torah. In addition to his many Kabbalah lessons for select students, he was later joined by a large group of disciples and followers, eventually assuming the role of a Rebbe. He made significant efforts to spread the wisdom of Kabbalah, writing and publishing many books, with his most prominent work being the ”Sulam” (Ladder) commentary on the Zohar.
