The main emotional note is set by the sky — massive, ”heavy” clouds occupy almost the entire plane of the sheet, enhancing the sense of space and giving the view a special dramatic composure. The artist subtly uses the possibilities of etching: the combination of a clear line and soft tonal gradations creates the impression of an airy perspective, and large spots of shadow and light organize the composition as a single picturesque mass. This is not just a topographical view, but a poetic image of Moscow passing away — calm and majestic, with a subtle anxiety of time. A Russian artist, the wife of the artist V.D. Falileev. In 1907-1913, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts with N.N. Dubovsky, D.N. Kardovsky. I used the advice of V.V. Mate. In 1911-1912, she traveled to Italy, France, and Germany. She was a member of the World of Art Association, the TPHV and the Zhar-Tsvet Society of Artists. A solo exhibition was held in Stockholm in 1924.
