The sheet is loose. Bury studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Mons in 1938/39. In 1951 he was part of the Cobra group. As a painter, Bury belonged to the Surealist movement, but turned to kinetic art in his large-scale sculptures. From 1983, Bury was Professor of Sculpture at the Paris School of Fine Arts.
