Art Nouveau figural group of a young faun, startled by the crocodile at his feet, standing on a rock base. Model by Ferdinand Liebermann (1883 Judenbach near Sonneberg - 1941 Munich) from 1914. As a freelance employee, Liebermann supplied numerous designs for Art Nouveau figures to the art department from 1909. -Condition: Head, snout, and leg of the crocodile restored, faun's tail base restored.
