Eight-armed Vishnu Bronze Figure - Eight-armed Vishnu Bronze Figure Cambodia, Thailand or Laos, probably 17th century or earlier. Bronze, wooden base. Weight: 555 g. H. 20 cm, with base: 25 cm. A tin seal hangs from one of the hands, probably as proof of authenticity or export. Condition: Signs of age and weathering. Vishnu is depicted in the classical Samapada posture, with eight arms holding his insignias. The primary right hand holds a bow. The figure is clad in a long sampot, and the body is adorned with jewelry and a sash.
