Large Standing Crowned Khmer Buddha in Lopburi Style - Large standing crowned Khmer Buddha in Lopburi style Thailand, probably 19th / 20th century. Bronze, patinated. H. 121 cm. Condition: Signs of age and wear. The figure stands with hands in an Abhaya Mudra posture. The palms bear chakras as a sign of his enlightenment. Buddha is dressed in Khmer style: in a sampot that leaves the upper body bare, a cloak, and a magnificent belt. He wears large earrings and a high, pointed crown.
