Finely executed painting in delicate pastel tones with Chinese landscape motifs. Image dimensions: approx. 53 × 18 cm. Passepartout: approx. 36 × 65 cm. The leaves are loose. With Chinese calligraphy and red seal stamps. Condition: Browned. One of the fans is signed and sealed by Ying Yeping, the other is unfortunately unknown. Ying Yeping (1910-1990) was an important Chinese landscape painter known for his masterful command of traditional ink techniques. His works often depict mist-shrouded mountains, flowing rivers and silent forests, combining classical aesthetics with modern expression. Active during a period of change in Chinese art, Ying's paintings convey poetic depth and quiet majesty, securing him a lasting place in 20th-century art history.
