Framed under glass. Slight creases in the upper and lower left areas. Sheet edges partially browned. - Lit.: Geiger WVG 103-7. Geiger studied architecture in Munich from 1928-32 and only turned to painting as a self-taught artist after 1945. He became a member of the Zen 49 group, which was programmatically close to American abstract expressionists. From 1965 to 1967 he was a professor at the Düsseldorf Academy.
