Color woodblock print on washi (Japanese paper), signed and sealed lower right, title upper right. Artist: Keisai Eisen (birth name: Ikeda Yoshinobu, 1790-1848). Dimensions: 36 x 25.3 cm. Framed under glass. Condition: Signs of age, heavily browned, some wormholes on the right side. Fraying at the edge, missing part middle left, fold mark. Keisai Eisen (1790-1848) was a significant Japanese artist of the late Edo period, known for his works in the Ukiyo-e style - especially for his depictions of beautiful women, known as Bijin-ga.
