Ichthyology - 3 Japanese Fish Watercolors - Ichthyology - 3 Japanese fish watercolors Japan, Meiji period (1868 - 1912). Watercolor on paper, 30.5 x 21.2 cm. Japanese fish name on the reverse. Very fine painting. Very well preserved, slightly browned. Creases at the corners of two pictures, small damage to one corner. Three Japanese fish: Skipjack Tuna, Acanthogobius Flavimanus and Oneirodes Eschrichtii.
