Blue and white bowl in Song Geyao style with Xuande mark - Blue and white bowl in Song Geyao style with Xuande mark China, probably 20th century. Porcelain, glazed, with crackle. Underglaze blue decoration. H. 7.8 cm. Mouth D.: 17.5 cm. Four Chinese characters in underglaze blue on the bottom: Xuande Nianzhi (Made during the Xuande Dynasty). Good condition, slight signs of wear. Geyao is one of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty (alongside the Guan, Ru, Ding, and Jun kilns). It is known for its cracked glaze - a deliberately created network of fine cracks.
