Old Bronze Amitayus Buddha - Old Bronze Amitayus Buddha Tibet, probably 18th-19th century or earlier. Bronze, patinated. H. 32 cm, W. approx. 23 cm. Closure plate on the underside of the base with mark. Signs of age and wear. Gilding and red setting partly lost. The Buddha of Infinite Life sits in a meditative posture on a lotus throne. He is richly adorned and wears a crown. His hands rest in a meditative gesture over his lap.
