Design by architect Karl Klaus, Vienna - executed by Ernst Wahliss, Vienna circa 1911. Ceramic, so-called ”Serapis-Fayence”. Light shard with white craquelure glaze, polychrome and gold painted. Craquelure. Gold rim. On the underside, the manufacturer's stamp in green: SERAPIS-FAYENCE WAHLISS. In gold, form number F.537 II and decor number II 9605 as well as 53. Impressed 537, 2 and F8. Metal wall mount.
