Klaus Fussmann studied from 1957-1961 at the Folkwang School in Essen and at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. In 1974, he became a professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Award winner of the Villa Massimo in Florence. Undertook numerous trips to Iceland, the Lofoten Islands, and India. In his landscape representations, the artist achieves a certain rigor. All his works stand in the great tradition of German Expressionism and yet are aware of their independence. Represented in collections and museums.
