Passe-partout. Framed under glass. Fussmann studied from 1957-1961 at the Folkwang School in Essen and at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. In 1974 he became a professor at the University of Arts in Berlin. Award winner of the Villa Massimo in Florence. Undertook numerous trips to Iceland, the Lofoten Islands and India. The artist achieves a rigor in his landscape depictions. All his works stand in the great tradition of German Expressionism and yet are aware of their independence. Represented in collections and museums.
