A silver-mounted Javanese Kris - A silver-mounted Javanese Kris Indonesia, Sumatra and Java, 19th century. Silver-mounted, with wooden handle, from Java and Sumatra. Total length 44.5 cm. Condition: Signs of age and wear. The blade shows cracks. The Kris has double-edged blades with beautiful pamor drawing, a Luk blade, fine feather-cut, and carefully crafted hilt. The Kris is fitted with a wooden wrangka; the scabbard is encased with chased silver in floral motifs.
