Ganesha with four hands sits on the back of the rat Mûshika. The Ganesha figure is detachable. Good state of preservation, age-appropriate signs of wear. Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity of wisdom and new beginnings, is often depicted on a small rat named Mûshika. The combination seems playful but carries strong symbolic meaning: Mûshika represents our restless desires and fears, the small impulses that can undermine our concentration. By Ganesha calmly sitting on Mûshika, he shows that true wisdom does not destroy these impulses – but masters them.
