Heinrich Hoffmann (1875-1939) was a significant Czech glass artist and Art Deco designer. He is best known for his hand-pressed glass objects made of malachite glass, uranium glass, and satin-finished pressed glass. His pieces - such as opulent perfume bottles, vases, and artistic glass bowls - are characterized by detailed, figurative, and floral reliefs and were a direct response to the famous works of René Lalique.
