June (19)86 / Eglau. Verso titled on newspaper article. Framed under glass. - Lit.: Vollmer 5, p. 450. Eglau studied at the Berlin University of the Arts, among others, with Max Kaus. At TU Berlin, Eglau held a professorship for free painting and drawing. In 1957, he received the prize of the 1st Exposition Biennale Internationale De Gravure à Tokyo. He undertook numerous study trips worldwide but maintained permanent studios in Berlin and on Sylt.
