Foundry mark: Strassacker Kunstguss Süssen. Base chipped. Fuchs studied from 1945 to 1950 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 1948, he was one of the founders of the ”Vienna School of Fantastic Realism”. Ernst Fuchs' work also includes interior architecture and furniture designs, as well as works for film and stage.
