18th C. Dutch School Landscape Oil on Panel - Rural riverside scene, depicting tall leafy trees framing a thatched farmhouse and cylindrical tower set on a raised embankment, with soft atmospheric depth extending toward distant water. Executed in the late Dutch Golden Age tradition, the work displays meticulous foliage detailing and a serene pastoral mood reminiscent of 18th-century followers of Meindert Hobbema. Panel with old French collection label to verso inscribed Ecole Hollandaise XVIII, together with inventory number 166/4. Later wooden battens applied to reverse for stability. Provenance: Formerly in a French private collection. Condition: Surface craquelure, minor losses, age-related wear; panel sound. Measuring 10 H x 8.5 inches W.
