Irish George II Style Carved Walnut Armchair in the Manner of Hicks of Dublin - George II Style Carved Walnut Armchair in the Manner of Hicks of Dublin. Shaped top rail carved with eagle heads, above a cartouche shaped splat carved with scrolls, above a shaped drop-in seat flanked by serpentine arms with scrolled phoenix head terminals, raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs headed by masks and ending in claw feet. Some staining to upholstery as shown. Measuring 28 inches W x 25 deep x 44 H, seat height 18 inches.
