Samson Meeko (E9-32, Belcher Islands) Serpentine Carving, Bearded Head - A finely carved Inuit head in dark serpentine, with stylized beard, deeply incised eyes, and a cap. Signed and labeled to the underside “Belcher Islands / S. Meeko / E9-32”, confirming the artist’s identity as S. Meeko of the Belcher Islands (Sanikiluaq), Nunavut. Mid–20th century. Height: 2.25 in. (5.7 cm). Provenance: Private Canadian Inuit Collection; inscribed with artist’s name and disc number E9-32. Condition: Very good, light surface wear.
