Tom Hill (b. 1943), Confrontation, Lithograph, ca. 1970s - A dramatic lithograph by Tom Hill, a Canadian Mohawk artist and curator, titled Confrontation. The work depicts a powerful encounter between a warrior and a mythic spirit figure, rendered with dense, expressive linework. Pencil-signed “Tom Hill” lower right, titled lower left, and numbered C.34/150.  Tom Hill, a significant figure in Indigenous arts, served as curator at the Woodland Cultural Centre and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. His works embody the resurgence of Indigenous cultural expression in the 1970s, blending traditional narratives with contemporary artistic practices.
