Antique Chinese Blanc de Chine Figure of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy - Antique Chinese Blanc de Chine (white porcelain) figure of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy.  The figure is made of a distinctive pure white clay body and milky-white glaze. Guanyin is depicted standing on a base of stylized clouds.  In Chinese culture, Guanyin is a pusa (bodhisattva) known for compassion.  Measuring 15 inches H x 5 W, 16.5 inches H including black stepped base. The figure's hands are missing fingers, restoration to neck and hair, chip to earlobe.
