Set of 4 Japanese Woodblock Prints, The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Utagawa Hiroshige - Japanese woodblock prints from the series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido, designed by artist Utagawa Hiroshige in the 1830s.    The prints depict scenes along the Tokaido road, which connected Edo (modern-day Tokyo) and Kyoto.  The images feature various landmarks, including bridges and landscapes, rendered in the traditional ukiyo-e style.  Station 8: Oiso-juku - Travelers walking along a narrow road lined with pine trees during a downpour of rain near a coastal village. Station 47: Kameyama: Clear Weather after Snow - A daimyo procession ascending a steep, snow-covered path towards Kameyama Castle. Station 39: Okazaki: Yahagi Bridge - Yahagi Bridge spanning the Yahagi River at Okazaki station, bustling with travelers, including a feudal lord's procession Station 19: Distant View of Miho, Ejiri - harbor at Ejiri featuring boats anchored in the bay with the pine-covered Miho promontory and distant mountains in the background.  Dimensions: 7.5 inches H x 10.5 W in matting, images 6.75 inches H x 8.5 W.
