Japanese Mitsufune Meiji Mixed Metal Pair Bronze Rooster Hen Vases - Pair of antique Japan mirrored solid bronze and mixed metal ovoid vase attributed to Mitsufune, the side with incised decoration and intricately inlayed silver and gold and ochre red details showing a rooster with a long tail and a hen perched in a cherry tree with blossoms, a matched pair with the pattern showing in opposite direction on each vase, Meiji period, 19th century, unsigned but identical pairs do show Mitsufune signature and quality of the workmanship is consistent with maker.
