Group of Five Chinese Silk Embroidered Fragments Qilin Gold Threading - THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION - A group of five vintage Chinese silk hand embroidered rectangular and square fragments, the hand embroidered designs showing mythical qilin, floral designs with birds and bats, and one with gold threading surrounding the motifs, all with modern brocade banding - three of an olive green design, two with an orange design, and olive and cream silk backing, fragments ranging from late Qing dynasty to Republic period. Smallest measures 12 inches x 9, largest measures 18 x 3 inches.
