Chinese Antique Da Lian Silk Embroidered Money Purse - THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION - A Chinese exquisite antique satin da lian purse to hold money and change, with elaborately and intricately hand embroidered needle loop stitch showing symbols and a butterfly on the upper money holder and symbols around a fish under water on the lower money holder, with a hidden inside pocket, the purse was worn with the top flap hung over a girdle belt worn over a robe, circa Qing dynasty early 19th century. Mounted on a plexi glass stand, purse measures 9 inches L x 3.5 W. Stand measures 7.5 inches H x 4.5 W x 3 deep.
