Chinese Antique Satin Applique Child's Collar with Doves - THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION - A finely crafted Chinese antique children's collar, six parts of different coloured satin with hand made applique embroidered with cotton thread showing a dove in each panel blue or white with various coloured tails, set within a plexiglass case, the dove symbolizing long life and also respect for elders, circa late Qing dynasty late 19th - early 20th century. Collar measures 11 inches diameter, opening measure 3.25 inches approx. Plexi frame measures 17 x 17 inches.
