Ze'ev Raban (1890-1970) – Collection of Sketches – Signs of the Zodiac - Ze'ev Raban (1890-1970), large collection of sketches for the signs of the Zodiac. Ink and pencil on paper. Approx. 70 leaves, some double-sided, some folded, and many of them comprising numerous sketches. The signs repeat themselves in various versions and styles; some are depicted as silhouettes, a technique usually employed by Raban's partner, Meir Gur Aryeh – thought in Raban's decorative style.
