The present book comprises mostly selections of the teachings of the Maggid of Mezeritch.
[2], 40 ff. 21.5 cm. Good condition. Stains and wear. Open tears to margins and marginal worming to final leaves, affecting text in some places. Leaves trimmed, affecting headings and bottom parts of several leaves. Stamp and handwritten inscriptions on title page. New binding.
The printing press of R. Yehuda Shlomo Yarish Rappoport of Lviv notably published the holy book "Noam Elimelech" in 1788. The printing workers employed in the press were reputed to be holy men, among the 36 hidden Tzaddikim of the generation.
