Collection of photographs (late printings) of Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar.
Photographs from various periods in the Rebbe's life: in some the Rebbe is seen on his way to the graves of Tzaddikim and the Arizal in the Safed cemetery (with his attendant R. Yosel Ashkenazi and R. Moshe Yitzchak Levinger at his side); walking on the streets of Jerusalem next to the Rebbe of Zidichov, the philanthropist R. Yisrael Zupnik and his attendant R. Yosel Ashkenazi; sitting next to Rebbe Yekutiel Yehudah Halberstam of Sanz-Klausenburg; in Switzerland after his arrival from Bergen-Belsen; in his visit to Montreal; at the window of a train in one of his visits to Eretz Israel; at the table of honor at a large council of rabbis; on his way to the graves of the disciples of the Baal Shem Tov in the Tiberias cemetery; and more.
Two photographs are captioned in the margin. One of the photographs has a printed caption: "In memory of… Rebbe Yoel Teitelbaum; there was and will be no one like him in previous generations and future generations]…".
20 photographs (10 of them identical portraits of the Rebbe). Size varies from approx. 15x10 to 25 cm. Very good condition.
